Introduction
Do you have difficulty communicating and connecting with important people in your life?
Most people find their greatest joys and challenges in their relationships. Many people are
socialized to give up their needs in favor of being good or taking care of others. If you find
yourself repeating patterns over and over again, and feel stuck in a habitual way of thinking,
reaching out for help can be an important first step in changing that. I feel passionate about the
possibility of the therapeutic relationship that we can develop and honored to assist you in this
collaborative process. Take the first step, and together we can make a difference.

“No problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it”
– Albert Einsein

Experience
I am a Board Certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice with over
twenty years of experience helping people improve their relationship skills. I maintain a safe,
confidential place for individuals and couples to talk, sort out issues, and feel deeply understood.
Having served as an Adjunct Faculty professor in the psychology department at Broward College
for ten years, I am grounded in the theories and underpinnings of human development and
behavior. I hold Masters Degrees in both Counseling Psychology and Education providing a
solid educational foundation for my counseling skills.

Throughout the past twenty years, I have facilitated coed interpersonal groups to provide
members with a safe format to refine their relationship skills. I also provide group therapy
for women with emotionally driven eating behaviors, and body image concerns. The treatment
focuses on the ability to self-nurture, emotional intelligence, and an exploration of the impact
of cultural stereotypes. This type of communal therapy reinforces working cooperatively while
becoming part of a healing process, and allows for the development of trust. Therapy provides
a unique opportunity for individuals to maximize their potential to enjoy their lives while making
deep and lasting changes.
